Care & Share Thrift Shoppes announced their 2019 donation to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at a special Super Star Breakfast.  Thanks to generous donors, energetic shoppers and enthusiastic volunteers, Care & Share announced they are the first independent, non-profit, thrift store to donate over One Million Dollars to charity in a calendar year

Volunteers contribute to the heartbeat of Care & Share!  At this breakfast, we celebrated an elite group we refer to as the “Super Stars”. These 93 special volunteers each donated between 300 - 1,700 hours in 2019, contributing to over 109,000 volunteer hours in 2019.  Care & Share is thankful for the support of all of our volunteers.

Since 1975, Care & Share has donated over $19 million to MCC (mcc.org)

  • Following Governor Wolf's direction, All Shoppes and Donation Docks are CLOSED.

Care & Share's success is because of our awesome volunteers and staff.  Our utmost concern is for their health and safety during these uncertain times.

If your birthday falls on a day that we are closed, the special 50% off birthday discount will honored on the next day we are open.

Kindly refrain from leaving donations.  Donations left during this time will become unsaleable because no one is here to accept them.  Your kind thought of donating to us will cost us money as we will need to dispose of them.

During this temporary closure, employees will continue to receive full pay and benefits.

Thank you so much for your understanding and patience.  We will miss you!  Watch this space for future developments!

Care & Share Thrift Shoppes presented a check for $2,581 to Hilltown Police Chief Christopher Engelhart from the proceeds of the recent First Responders Appreciation Night.  In December, Hilltown Police Department will be partnering with Quakertown Police Department to shop with selected children for items to make their holiday season brighter.

The evening of the “First Responders Event” was unseasonably cold.  We are ecstatic to see such strong support for First Responders which is evident in the amount of money raised.  Thank you for shopping and visiting with the First Responders onsite that evening.
