CUSTODIAL ASSOCIATE

We are looking for a reliable, energetic person to perform light custodial duties in our facility. The successful candidate will be a friendly, positive person who enjoys interacting with team members and the public.

Must be able to lift and move items up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis, occasionally up to 50 lbs. The work day will be during our business hours, with responsibilities including keeping our facility restrooms refreshed during the day; emptying trash cans; light vacuuming work; monitoring supplies; cleaning the break rooms; and other responsibilities.

The job is part-time, working 1:00 to 6:00 PM five days a week, including 3 Saturdays a month.

DONATION ASSOCIATE

Hours:                    Full time and Part time; Saturdays and occasional Evenings

Pay Rate:               $15.00 an hour

We are searching for an individual with enthusiasm to assist in receiving donations!     

This position requires someone to work outside in all types of weather and who is a focused and organized individual.  The ability to motivate volunteers and fellow staff and to lead by example are key qualifications. Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn a requirement. Physically able to move up to 100lbs, and remain standing for long periods of time.

ELECTRONICS AND APPLIANCE ASSOCIATE

This job is a perfect fit for an organized individual who enjoys and has an interest in working with electronics, appliances, tools, and artwork, among other similar items. The duties include the ability to sort through the vast array of donations we receive in these areas efficiently and make decisions regarding the saleability of the merchandise received.  This work requires you to be on your feet and maintain a good pace.

Must have the ability to move up to 50 lbs. multiple times an hour and make quick, accurate decisions.  Friendly, outgoing, and customer service skills are required.

MERCHANDISE SELECTOR

Are you a person who has a deep interest and knowledge of secondhand goods and antiques?  Do you frequent auctions, antique stores and yard sales?  Perhaps you have made extra income through buying and reselling household goods.  We are looking for an individual with a depth of experience and knowledge of goods and their value.  We receive awesome donations – Help us select which donations should be sold in our Variety Shoppe. You would be helping us through the evaluation of household goods, collectibles, craft items, and toys. Your eye for saleable products with our training as to pricing will lead to success!

This position requires a high-energy, organized individual who enjoys being part of a team. Experience is a requirement.  Physically able to move up to 50lbs, multiple times an hour, and remain standing for long periods of time.

The successful candidate will be able to make decisions in an efficient and consistent manner and enjoy working with a wide array of goods.

This is a full-time, 40 hour position.

SEASONAL: PRODUCTION ASSOCIATES

HOURS:  16 a week

Payrate:  $11 - 12 an hour

We are searching for individuals aged 16 and older looking for some extra money who can help us prepare merchandise for sale and restock our shoppe.

These positions require team players who can maintain a steady pace – this is a high energy position.  You will work to replenish our shoppes in the late afternoon-early evening hours.  The work involves quality control, attaching price tags to merchandise, and restocking the display racks. This job requires the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and move large carts/racks.  There is an expectation on how many items will be stocked each night. 

This is a perfect job for the high school or college student or someone who is looking to get out of the house.
