BOOK ASSISTANT MANAGER

Hours: 40; Occasional Thursday & Friday Evenings till 8pm and Saturdays

Pay Rate: $13/hr

Supervised By: Book Manager

We are searching for a Book Shoppe Assistant Manager who will assist management in maintaining and growing the Book Shoppe. Work with our excellent team members to make the Book Shoppe a destination of choice!  Identify, organize and lead several shop community events every year. This position requires a highly motivated, energetic, organized, computer-competent individual with retail experience.  Help us continue the phenomenal success of our Book Shoppe.  Physically able to move up to 35+lbs. on a regular basis and spend long periods standing.

Preference will be given to those with previous experience in retail and/or book management.

This position requires a highly motivated, organized individual with an interest in providing a top-quality product for our customers. Individual should be familiar with brand named clothing and have interest and ability to choose merchandise that is appealing to our customers.  Physically able to spend long periods standing and the ability to move up to 50lbs.

We are searching for an individual with enthusiasm to assist in receiving donations!

This position requires someone to work outside in all types of weather, who is a focused and an organized individual.  The ability to motivate volunteers and staff and to lead by example are key qualifications. Physically able to move up to 100lbs, and remain standing for long periods of time.

Physically able to move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, and occasionally up to 100 lbs, and remain standing for long periods of time.  

Preference given to those with retail experience.
