Volunteers are the core of our business model, and we’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented self-starter to provide PART-TIME administrative support to our Volunteer Program!

We are seeking an individual who enjoys interacting with people and who would be a positive initial contact to individuals interested in volunteering at Care & Share. Are you someone who treats everyone with respect and in a professional, friendly manner? Are you a fast learner and a self-starter? Do you have strong computer skills? If you have excellent communication abilities, experience with maintaining databases, and a willingness to go the extra mile, we want to speak with you!

This part-time position requires supporting the volunteer office, maintaining databases, and welcoming people interested in volunteering. Ability and comfort using computers is a requirement.

The hours are Monday through Fridays, 9AM to 2PM. (1PM on Fridays)

We have a great opportunity for someone with experience in leading people in a production or warehouse setting! The successful individual will have an opportunity to succeed along with our growing organization.

We are searching for a responsible individual who can oversee the sorting, pricing and restocking of our retail shops, and lead and motivate the production staff working under their direct supervision. This position requires a team player who can maintain a steady pace –this is a high-energy position! Your team will consist of approximately 12 to 18 seasonal employees. You will work along with your team in the afternoon through early evening hours. You will lead by example and make sure the movement of inventory flows smoothly. This job requires the ability to be on your feet for long periods and move up to 50 lbs multiple times an hour throughout your shift. There is an expectation on how much product will be processed each night. You will be responsible for the staff under your supervision to meet their goals. Materials handled will include clothing, household goods, linens and toys, among other miscellaneous donations.

Hours will be Noon to 8 PM Monday through Thursday, and Fridays 9 AM to 5 PM. One Saturday shift a month (9-5) in lieu of Friday shift.

We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and support our incredible volunteers in our retail shops. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our Shoppes will stand out. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. The ability to motivate volunteers and to lead by example are key qualifications. Physically able to move up to 25lbs, and remain standing for long periods of time.

This is a high-energy position that requires you to have good organizational skills and a desire to interact with the public. Work in a friendly, positive, team-oriented environment!

Friday after 4pm and Saturday; a total of 8 hours a week.
